Jason Reid is a trusted, Senior Advisor for National Life Safety Group, recognized for innovation and integration of facility Fire, Life Safety and Emergency Management.
Jason has successfully provided a return on investment for international & Canadian clients, property management professionals, world leading Universities, and Federal and Provincial Governments.
Prior to founding NLS Group, Jason led the creation & development of the Fire, Safety and Emergency Management program for the Toronto Eaton Centre & High-Rise Towers, one of Canada’s leading tourist destinations – seeing over 130,000 people a day.
Prior to joining Cadillac Fairview in 2007, Jason attained the level of Platoon Chief & Supervisor in the Emergency Services Department for BOMBARDIER Aerospace in Toronto; an active airport and industrial facility spanning over 24 million square feet, an active runway and over 5000 occupants.
Jason is an active Provincial Instructor for the Province of Ontario in Emergency Management (BEM) and a certified Crisis Communications Planner. He is Certified in Federal programs for Emergency Operations Centre Management and Site Incident Command.
In 2015, Jason was appointed the position of Chair; of the Fire & Emergency Management Committee for Resilient Communities Ontario. He is an active, long time Board Member with the Institution of Fire Engineers; Canada Branch, and was privileged to be the 2011 Chair of the Building Owners & Managers Association of Toronto; Award winning Emergency Management Committee. While with BOMA, Jason represented private sector corporations and critical infrastructure as a representative to both Municipal Police and Fire Services in tactical and strategic planning & response integration.
He is a strong believer in open and transparent best practices in the field of life safety and emergency management, and often speaks on the ever growing demands in support of the profession.
Jamie holds a degree in Fire Sciences from the University of Cincinnati and is a graduate of Seneca College where he studied Fire Protection Engineering Technology.
Jamie is an active career firefighter with a strong background in fire prevention, protection and suppression, providing a holistic approach to fire and life safety planning.
Jamie specializes in creating tactical drawings with the focus on what matters most: ease of comprehension for a quick response in an emergency situation – Suitable for use by Police, Fire & EMS.

Rob has almost 30 years’ experience as a tactical firefighter (Platoon Chief), with most of that tine leading teams dealing with Hazardous Materials.
He is an certified NFPA 472 Hazard Materials Technician who has trained responders at all levels in both Public and Private Sectors, including international training programs. Rob is an active Director with The Association of Canadian CBRNE Technicians and has been the past Chair of the Toronto HAZMAT Conference.
Julia is an Associate Consultant with NLS Group, a graduate of the Fire Protection program at Seneca College, and a former Naval Communicator in the Royal Canadian Navy.
Julia’s experience and her time in the Royal Canadian Navy have had a focus on attention to detail. Julia’s expertise focusses on Fire Safety Planning and drawing development.

Rebecca is a trusted member of the National Life Safety Group team providing unparalleled project / customer service to our family of clients. Rebecca is a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist, and a graduate of Mohawk College’s three-year Advertising and Marketing Communications program. Additionally, Rebecca received professional writing certification from Niagara College, and has completed English studies at Athabasca University, and remains a passionate promoter of Personal / Professional health and safety.
