Industry recognized Fire Safety training and professional development for Commercial Buildings

Building owners and management, tenants, and employers operating in or at a Commercial building must work together to implement their building’s Fire Safety Plan, and the appointed supervisory staff - require training.

This is requirement of both the fire codes in Canada and applicable Occupational Health & Safety legislation.

Implementing a Commercial or Office Building Fire Safety Plan

Developed specifically for Managers, Administrative Staff, Security and building Operations Professionals Responsible for Commerical Buildings.

Accredited Training Program

As per the Ontario Fire Code, and applicable OHSA legislation, all “Supervisory staff” at your Commercial / Office building are required to be trained on the building’s approved fire safety plan. 

  • Designed for Commerical building Property Managers, Operations Professionals, Physical Security Teams, Tenants and Employers operating in the building and Fire Wardens

  • This 3.0-hour certificate program, delivered onsite and site specific to your approved fire safety plan, developed and delivered by a recognized team of NFPA 1035 Fire and Life Safety Public Educators.

  • Training meets and exceeds the training requirements of Section 2.8 of the Ontario Fire Code and endorsed by the Institution of Fire Engineers Canada.

Certificate Program: “Operations” of Life Safety Systems in Commerical / Office Buildings

Hands on training and ongoing knowledge testing of Building Operations Staff and Security Teams.

This unique, 1.5 hour certificate program is site specific, held on site, providing building Operations profesionals and Security teams with the HANDS ON knowledge and skill set to effectively utilize the fire alarm system, reset manual pull stations, effectively utilize emergency voice communications systems, and understand the operations of sprinkler valves, smoke controls systems, and more. 

  • Allows professional and reality based training for Building Operations and Security Staff -who oversee the buildings life safety systems at 2:00 AM.

  • Empower your building’s front line staff with realistic fire safety training and allow the building Owner to maintain evidence of training completion to the requirements of both the fire code and applicable sections of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

  • These staff members are requried to perform checks and inspections at your building and are requried to be trained on the how to safely and correctly complete those checks and inspections.

  • Developed and delivered by a recognized team of NFPA 1035 Fire and Life Safety Public Educators,

Accredited Training Program:

Implementing the Fire Safety Plan for Tenants and Employer Fire Warden Teams.

Certificate and Accredited Program: Tenants and employers operating in commerical office buildings are required to provide sufficient numbers of trained Fire Wardens, and / or Supervisory Staff. These “supervisory staff” members typically report to the chief fire warden for that employer, and are responsible to implement the tenant’s responsibiklities with their leased or occupied area.

As per the Ontario Fire Code, and applicable OHSA legislation, all “Supervisory staff”, having roles and responsibilities in the building’s fire safety plan, require training - before being given any f those responsibilities.

  • This Two (2)-hour accredited, certificate program, is delivered onsite and site specific to your building’s approved fire safety plan,

  • Training program was developed and delivered by a recognized team of NFPA 1035 Fire and Life Safety Public Educators.

  • Training meets and exceeds the training requirements of Section 2.8 of the Ontario Fire Code and endorsed by the Institution of Fire Engineers Canada.
