  • Will allow successful participants to acheive a ‘stamp of approval’ that a person responsible for fire safety in a building or workplace in Ontario, can be used to show that the person has achieved the requried training, to effectively implement a fire safety plan in Ontario.

  • Accredited by the Institution of Fire Engineers Canada Branch to meet the requirements of Section 2.8 of the Ontario Fire Code.

  • This 3.5 Hour Certificate program, delivered onsite and specific to your facility fire safety plan, and is delivered by a team of recognized NFPA Fire & Life Safety Public Educators.

CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: TECHNICAL OPERATIONS OF LIFE SAFETY SYSTEMS

Designed for front line staff at critical facilities who who are responsible for their Facility’s Life Safety Systems operations and inspections.

  • This unique, Two - 2.0 Hour certificate program, is held onsite and site specific, providing facility operations teams and workplace first responders hands on / reality-based understanding of life safety systems and their operation in the workplace; Fire alarm system, Manual Pull Stations, Emergency Voice Communications Systems, Sprinkler, Emergency Lighting, Emergency Power, and more.  

  • Designed and delivered by recognized NFPA 1035 Fire and Life Safety Educators.

CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: EMERGENCY PROCEDURES IN THE WORKPLACE

Designed for Facility Management Professionals, spill response teams, fire safety teams and Joint Occupational Health and Safety teams (JOSHSC) who are responsible for their organizations Emergency response / workplace safety, monthly inspections, fire safety and compliance programs.

Designed and delivered by recognized NFPA 1035 Fire and Life Safety Educators, this unique, 3.0 Hour certificate program is held onsite and site specific, providing Health and Safety Teams an understanding of the risk assessment and emergency procedures and documentation required in the workplace under the Fire Code and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: INTEGRATING FIRE CODE COMPLIANCE and WORKPLACE SAFETY

This certificate program allows both Facility Managers and those responsible for compliance and risk management at their facility, to understand the requirementts of the Fire Codes, and successfully integrate these inspections and tests into their health and safety and preventative maintenance program.

  • Participants will review in detail and site specific, the fire code requirements for daily, weekly, and monthly inspections, along with a review of quarterly, bi-annual, and annual checks, tests, and inspections.

  • Upon completion, participants will have evidence of their understanding of the fire code test and inspections, and the documentation required by both Fire Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act and other legislation.

  • This unique, 3.0 Hour certificate program is held onsite and site specific and a full list of compliance is created, with participants understanding why these test and inspections are required - ready to implement the next day!
