MANAGING YOUR WORKPLACE FIRE CODE COMPLIANCE PROGRAM

Accredited training for Health and Safety Professionals and JOHSC representatives.

Accredited Program: Designed for Health and Safety professionals who are responsible for their organization’s workplace safety, JOHSC Teams, fire safety, and compliance programs.

  • Accredited & endorsed by the Institution of Fire Engineers Canada Branch to meet the requirements of Section 2.8 of the Ontario Fire Code. 

  • Based your approved Fire Safety Plan and site specific systems. Requires a passing grade of 75 percent to obtain the certificate.

  • This 3.5-hour certificate program is site specific, developed and delivered by a team of NFPA certified Fire & Life Safety Public Educators.

CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: TECHNICAL OPERATIONS OF LIFE SAFETY SYSTEMS

Certificate Program: Technical Operations of Life Safety Systems in the workplace for the Health & Safety Professionals

Designed for Health and Safety professionals who are responsible for their organization’s workplace safety, compliance and inspection programs.

This unique, 1.5 hour certificate program is held on site, is site specific, providing Health and Safety teams, and workplace first responders with hands on, reality based, understanding of life safety systems, fire alarm system operations, manual pull station activations / resets, emergency voice communications systems use, sprinkler system inspections, emergency lighting, emergency power, and more.

  • Designed for Health Care Settings, Industrial, Manufacturing, Retail and Commerical Workplaces.

  • Designed and delivered by recognized NFPA 1035 Fire and Life Safety Educators.

  • Developed and delivered by a recognized team of NFPA 1035 Fire and Life Safety Public Educators,

CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: EMERGENCY PROCEDURES IN THE WORKPLACE

Designed and delivered by recognized NFPA 1035 Fire and Life Safety Educators, this unique, three (3) hour certificate program is held on site, is site specific, providing a Health and Safety teams with an understanding of risk assessment, emergency procedures, and documentation required in the workplace under both the Fire Code, and applicable sections of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: INTEGRATING FIRE CODE COMPLIANCE and WORKPLACE SAFETY INSPECTIONS

This program is back by popular demand !

This engaging and certificate program allows participants to obtain a solid understanding of the Fire Code requirements, in detail, for daily, weekly, and monthly inspections, along with a review of the many quarterly, bi-annual, and annual checks, tests, and inspections.

Upon completion, participants will have an understanding of Fire Code required tests and inspections, and the documentation required by the Fire Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and other legislation.

This unique, three (3) hour certificate program is held on site, is site specific, and a full list of compliance is created which will allow participants with the understanding of the “why” tests and inspections are required.
